Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon moves to mid-November for 2013
Organizers of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and Half-Marathon haven’t hesitated to shake things up since taking over the annual event in 2009.
Fresh off the successful 2012 running on Dec. 2 – the second one contested at night on the Strip – Competitor Group wasted no time ramping up for 2013 with a key scheduling change.
Competitor announced Tuesday night that the event will move up to Nov. 17 next year, a couple of weeks ahead of its usual early December slot.
Furthermore, online registration will open today, and in recognition of Dec. 12 (12/12/2012), there will be a one-day discounted entry fee of $125. After that promotion ends, registration will remain open, but the entry fee jumps to $145 on Thursday.
