Today’s best bet: BOSTON RED SOX (-125) over Detroit Tigers
Look for Jon Lester and the rejuvenated Red Sox to keep the Tigers (0-7) winless. Lester hurled 6 2/3 scoreless innings at Oakland in his last start, and Detroit’s offense has been anemic. Also, including the playoffs, Boston went 58-31 at Fenway Park last season. Always bet with a streak, never against it, as it can only result in one loss.
