Two prep football games postponed because of I-15 work
Two prep football games scheduled for Friday have been postponed and one game moved because of the repair work on Interstate 15 northeast of Las Vegas.
The Moapa Valley at Desert Pines and Del Sol at Virgin Valley games will not be played Friday.
A representative from the Clark County School District athletic office said the office is attempting to reschedule the games for Saturday, but was waiting on confirmation from the district’s transportation office.
All events involving Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley have been postponed all week.
Indian Springs was scheduled to play at Beaver Dam, Ariz., on Friday. That game has been moved to Indian Springs and is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday.
