Breakdown: UNLV vs. Wyoming tonight

BACKCOURT
Josh Adams is capable of carrying Wyoming, averaging 24.6 points per game, but his status is in question because of a sprained ankle. He is joined in the backcourt by Jason McManamen, who averages 13.9 points. UNLV can match the Cowboys’ guards, but Adams is a difference-maker.
Edge: Wyoming

FRONTCOURT
The expected return of Stephen Zimmerman Jr. can’t be overstated for the Rebels. If he comes back, that will allow other players to spend more time in their more natural positions, such as Derrick Jones Jr. at forward instead of in the middle.
Edge: UNLV

BENCH
Even if Zimmerman comes back, the Rebels will still be short-handed, especially if point guard Jerome Seagears (right heel) can’t play or is severely limited. But Wyoming doesn’t exactly bring players in droves off the bench, either.
Edge: UNLV

INTANGIBLES
UNLV is simply a different team at home, and the Rebels will want to play their final regular-season game at the Mack in style.
Edge: UNLV

BOTTOM LINE
Betting line: UNLV -91/2
