UNLV women’s basketball beats Dixie State in exhibition

Kelli Thompson had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead the UNLV women’s basketball team to a 68-53 exhibition victory over Dixie State on Monday at Cox Pavilion. The game served as the lone tuneup for the Lady Rebels’ season opener Friday at home against UC Santa Barbara.

Danielle Miller added 13 points and five steals for UNLV, and Alana Cesarz had 11 points and eight rebounds.
