Wisconsin 51, UNLV 17
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Badgers, who scored 51 points by halftime against UNLV tonight, were held scoreless for the second half, but beat the Rebels 51-17.
After being held to a field goal in the first half, UNLV scored two touchdowns and forced two punts in the second half. William Vea caught a 9-yard pass from quarterback Caleb Herring for the Rebels’ second touchdown in their season opener.
