Aliante’s ‘Movie Madness’ continues

The Aliante master planned community’s Movie Madness Series continues tonight with a large-screen film presentation of “Stuart Little II” in the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park.

The presentation will be the sequel to last night’s showing of “Stuart Little.” Free and open to the public, the movies are part of the 2008 Movie Madness Series presented by the city of North Las Vegas and the Aliante Master Community Association.

An adaptation of E.B. White’s classic children’s story, the movies combine computer-animated characters with a cast of live actors. The story centers around the adventures of a talking mouse adopted by a human family living in a brownstone near New York’s Central Park. The movie is appropriate for all ages.

The movie will begin just after dusk and no later than 7:30 p.m. Those who attend are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.

Nature Discovery Park is located at 2627 Nature Park Drive, near the southeast corner of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and Aliante Parkway. To reach the park, take U.S. Highway 95 north to the I-215 Exit East. Head east on I-215, exit at Aliante Parkway and proceed south.
