AROUND TOWN: Catch local’s photo exhibit at Henderson Multigenerational Center

Time is running out to see Larry Miller’s Sunrise to Shimmering Lights photography exhibit at The Gallery at Liberty Pointe, which closes on July 18.

The exhibit in the gallery, located inside the Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Parkway, shows nature and the southwest desert as a stunning backdrop of life and color.

The Henderson Multigenerational Center is close to the Paseo Verde Library and The District at Green Valley Ranch, so, although small it’s worth a look if you’re in the area.

And the next exhibit, featuring another local artist, Alexander Franco, will open on July 30 with a meet and greet artist reception from 7 to 8 p.m.

His Conceptual Art exhibit, which takes viewers on a trip into a world of color, form, balance and concept, through his abstract collection, will be on display until Aug. 30.

Gallery hours are from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
