Dem challenges Titus in CD3
There’s a Democrat taking to the airwaves to win Nevada’s Third Congressional District seat, and it isn’t incumbent Rep. Dina Titus.
John Beard will air ads next week on Fox 5 in Las Vegas making the case for why he, not Titus, should be the Democratic nominee.
The ad doesn’t mention Titus by name. It says Congress should use remaining stimulus money to pay down the deficit and, in general, make Nevada better.
Beard was born at March Air Force Base outside Riverside, Calif., in June 1954, and "within a few short months we moved to back to the Las Vegas Valley," according to his campaign site, www.beardforcongress.com. He is retired from running his own business.
