Knee replacement — Week 3
It’s been three weeks to the day since I had total knee replacement. This will likely be my last update on the topic. I’m off crutches, just about off of the pain meds and ready to resume "normal" life.
From a patient standpoint, I’d say it is the rehab that’s the toughest. I paid the price for playing football and running marathons, including wilderness marathons over the volcanoes in Hawaii. Theoretically, I now have a knee better than new. We’ll see.
