Lennar promotes energy efficiency at Canyon Springs neighborhood
Lennar’s Canyon Springs neighborhood in the northern portion of the Las Vegas Valley, prides itself in having implemented and sustained its goals as an Energy Star-certified development, according to Vicki Zoot, director of marketing.
Homes that reflect the latest technology in energy-efficient features such as low-e windows, insulation, programmable thermostat, energy-saver quick-recovery gas water heater, gas furnace and balanced power, can help homeowners save money with lower heating and cooling costs, according to Zoot.
The single-family home designs range from 1,648 to 3,128 square feet with five floor plans. Three are single-story great-room designs accented by volume and vaulted ceilings.
The 1,648-square-foot Malibu includes three bedrooms, two baths and three-car garage; the 1,905-square-foot La Jolla features four bedrooms, two baths and a two-car, plus one-bay garage. The 2,201-square-foot Laguna includes four bedrooms, two baths and three-car garage.
The Malibu includes a rear-covered patio off the great room and laundry room with access to the garage. The La Jolla model features a front courtyard, covered porch entry and tech center. The Laguna features a formal living and dining room at the home’s entry and a great-room/kitchen combination. The home’s master suite is removed from the home’s other bedrooms.
Two-story designs include the 2,714-square-foot Santa Clara with formal living room and separate formal dining room. Informal gathering spaces include the great room, open kitchen and breakfast nook. The kitchen includes an island with bar-counter seating, walk-in pantry and bay-window pop-out.
The 3,128-square-foot Beverly Hills includes five bedrooms with a game loft, three baths and three-car garage. Design highlights include a main-floor family room and game loft on the second floor.
Kitchens are equipped with granite countertops.
Homes are priced from the $300,000s and located just south of the Craig Road shopping corridor, with access to Interstate 15.
