Lennar provides special financing
Beginning this weekend, Lennar is offering its best prices and closing costs incentives, according to Jeff Galindo, vice president of sales for the company’s Las Vegas division.
He said incentives have never been better, tax credits have never been bigger, interest rates have never been lower.
“There is no guarantee that all of these incentives, such as financing, tax credits and low pricing, will last,” Galindo said. “More and more people are realizing how great these offers are and are taking full advantage. They realize it’s a ‘now or never’ type of situation — snooze, and you may just lose.”
He goes on to list market conditions and trends. The recent federal tax credit, worth as much as $8,000 for first-time homebuyers, has been approved until the end of the year.
Real estate experts report a year over year and month over month increase in sales, indicating a possible leveling off in home prices. April sales topped all estimates as homebuyers took advantage of record low prices and interest rates, he said.
Universal American Mortgage Co., Lennar’s preferred lender, introduced special financing packages with record low interest rates last month.
Galindo said the program could allow qualified buyers to own a new $183,990 home for $966 per month.
“Sales are on the rise as home shoppers realize this is a wonderful buyer’s market that won’t be here forever,” Galindo said. “As one of the country’s top homebuilders, we’re doing everything we can to help buyers take advantage of these offers and feel secure in their purchases.”
Lennar also is continuing its Peace of Mind Mortgage Payment Protection Program at select new-home neighborhoods nationwide. It is designed to provide assistance to those who may lose their jobs after purchasing their homes. Qualified homeowners that are enrolled in the program could receive as much as $1,800 in mortgage payments per month for as many as six months.
Lennar offers 15 neighborhoods throughout the greater Las Vegas area. Many homes feature stainless steel appliances, granite slab countertops, walk-in closets, his and her vanities and Roman-style spa tubs.
