Lowden in DC, can’t escape chickens
Sue Lowden is in Washington today to raise money for her Senate campaign.
Still taunting Lowden over her comments on health care bartering, Democrats posted a chicken-suited operative outside Charlie Palmer Steak, a popular power lunch hangout at the foot of Capitol Hill.
That’s the chicken posted below.
Inside the restaurant, Lowden was the beneficiary at a $1,000 per plate luncheon organized by Republican consultants, including several representing health care interests.
This evening, former senator/movie star Fred Thompson and his wife Jeri are holding a rooftop reception for Lowden. For donations ranging from $100 to $1,000, partygoers can watch the sun go down along Pennsylvania Avenue.
