Man asks woman for hug, cuts off nearly a foot of her hair
Here’s how not to hug someone.
A PE teacher is facing a misdemeanor assault charge after police say he cut off nearly a foot of hair from his former girlfriend’s head while he was giving her a hug.
According to WTVR, Melvin D. Hunt met his ex in a middle school parking lot last week in Chesterfield, Va., and asked her for a hug. As she leaned in, “he allegedly grasped her firmly and then cut off her hair,” according to the station.
Before the cutting, Hunt reportedly canceled travel plans with the woman.
Along with facing criminal charges, Hunt has been placed on administrative leave at his school.
The attacker’s motive is unclear at this time.
