Man gets revenge on fraudster by texting him Shakespeare’s entire works
The next time you think about scamming someone out of a PS3, consider what happened to the last guy.
An Internet vendor failed to deliver a $130 PS3 to Edd Joseph, a graphic designer in the U.K., and Joseph was furious. So he did what any reasonably frustrated person with a basic understanding of text messaging would have done: started working to copy and paste the 37 works of Shakespeare into a text per play.
The plays would be delivered via 29,305 individual texts because of the 160-character limit placed on messages.
His plan wouldn’t have been quite as effective had the scammer been using iMessage, but Joseph got lucky.
He told the Telegraph he’s sent 22 plays so far and expects to take another 15 days to finish the job. Read the full story here.
