Prudential Americana takes on new partner

Prudential Americana Group has formed a partnership with Shelter Mortgage to provide residential mortgages in Southern Nevada. Shelter Mortgage is a subsidiary of Guaranty Bank, a family owned bank with assets of about $2 billion. This is the company’s first partnership in the Las Vegas market.

“At a time when many other real estate lenders are either unstable or shutting down altogether, it was important for us to work with a reputable mortgage provider,” said Mark Stark, chief executive officer of Prudential Americana Group. “We are proud to partner with such a well-respected and hard-working company. They spent months researching both our company and the local real estate market before deciding to bring their business to Southern Nevada.”

Shelter Mortgage offers hundreds of real estate loan programs and has more than 40 real estate partnerships nationwide. “In this challenging local real estate market, we needed a mortgage company with the expertise and products to service our clients well every time,” Stark said.

“We found Prudential Americana Group to be a perfect partnership in terms of our commitment to the customer, as well as our proven records of leadership and results in our businesses,” said Jill Belconis, president of Shelter Mortgage.

Shelter Mortgage has been a leader in joint real estate partnerships since 1984. The federally chartered bank is in its fourth generation of family leadership and has more than 180 branches operating in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Georgia.

Prudential Americana Group Realtors is an independently owned and operated member of Prudential Real Estate affiliates and is one of the largest real estate company in Las Vegas.
