The Nevada Contractors Association names new board

The Nevada Contractors Association, a nonprofit industry group, announced Mike Olson, president of Olson Precast Co., as 2010 chairman. Other executive committee officers include: Brent Conrad, Werdco B.C., as vice chairman, and Travis Burton, Perini Building Co., as secretary/treasurer.

Board of director members are: Kris Sundell, Stewart & Sundell Concrete; Guy Wells, Wells Cargo Construction; Mike Dean, M.J. Dean Construction; Rick Ewing, Las Vegas Paving Corp.; Berlyn Miller, Berlyn Millers & Associates; Howdy Wells, Wells Cargo Construction; Pat Miyahira, Maui One Excavating; Paul Bunker, Aztec Inspection Services; Marty Schumacher, Granite Construction Co.; Jack Schaefer, Schaefer & Associates; Sean Stewart, Frehner Construction Co.; and Pat Ward, Southern Nevada Paving.

The association will hold its quarterly membership luncheon June 22, at the Rio All-Suites Hotel Casino Convention Center, 3700 W. Flamingo Road. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. It marks 15th anniversary of the association. For more information, call 222-0320.
