Rental townhome complex opens today
The Croix, a rental townhome project in Henderson, will celebrate its grand opening with a party today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Renters and their pets are welcome to attend the opening party that will feature a special wine tasting hosted by Southern Wine and Spirits and Lee’s Discount Liquors and the jazzy sounds of the Desert Vista Jazz Trio.
Four-legged friends will be provided with special treats and giveaways from PetSmart and Ryan’s Corner. The 7.5-acre complex will take dogs up to 150 pounds.
The units with attached two-car garages start at $1,937.
Phase One of 49 units is finished and the complex is scheduled for completion in mid-August. The Croix was developed by La Playa Properties LLC and is located at 1281 Galleria Drive.

Company completes commercial project
Southern California-based Voit Development Co. has completed the final phase of Pacific Business Center for Northwestern Mutual Investments/Life Insurance.
Pacific Business Center is a 13-building, 898,389-square-foot business park in Henderson. The project is on American Pacific Drive near Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway.
This phase has two midbay buildings and one distribution building totaling 216,317 square feet. The project was awarded a Development Excellence Award in the New Commercial and Speculative Buildings category by the city of Henderson.
The center’s suites range from 5,467 to 112,000 square feet and are delivered in turn- key condition.
