Rebels’ schedule taking toll with injuries, Hauck says
No news from UNLV football coach Bobby Hauck on this morning’s Mountain West Conference teleconference.
The real news will come later when the school releases its weekly injury report.
"We’re pretty beat up," Hauck said. The schedule has "taken a toll on us physically."
As for the possibility of not facing West Virginia running back Noel Devine when the teams meet at 12:30 p.m. PDT Saturday in Morgantown, W.Va., Hauck said the Mountaineers have enough other talent to mostly make up the difference.
"They may be a shade better (with Devine), but they have people they can plug in and get the job done," Hauck said.
Devine probably will play, but is hampered by a toe injury.
