Thieves dug a 50-foot tunnel to steal a ton of money from an ATM
Thieves in the U.K. stole tens of thousands of pounds from an ATM by digging a 50-foot tunnel under a building.
Detectives told the Guardian the thieves could have spend months digging the tunnel from wasteland into a branch of Tesco Express.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward in the hopes that the thieves wouldn’t have been able to keep their mouths shut about the ambitious project.
“You may have seen people acting suspiciously on Friday, possible covered in soil,” DS Mark Toker said.
