The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada invites cyclists to register for the Downtown Soul Ride, a free, poker run-style tour of downtown scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. The ride coincides with Rediscover Downtown Day, an outreach event lead by the Downtown Las Vegas Alliance, to urge residents to become reacquainted with downtown Las Vegas. Riders will gather at the Transportation Commission’s administrative building, 600 S. Grand Central Parkway. Green Girl, a promoter of sustainability, plans to guide the tour and entertain cyclists with booming music.
