Longtime locals are wondering why they aren’t seeing those flash flood warning commercials that often seem to run in the middle of the summer when there’s no rain in sight.
Isn’t there a more timely way to place such advertisements?
Of course, it can be argued that if you’re dumb enough to drive through a flooded street you’re probably too dumb to take a warning issued in a 30-second commercial.
