Work is family affair at Chapman

Lawrence Ennis, director of sales and leasing at Chapman Chrysler Jeep in the Valley Automall, has been in the car business for more than 22 years and has worked at both Chapman dealerships in the valley for a total of six years. It’s no wonder that his son, Aaron Ennis, was inspired to follow in his father’s footsteps and is now his special assistant.

“My dad has always been my hero and I’ve seen how successful he’s become at Chapman with the respect and support that everyone gives him at the dealership,” said Aaron Ennis. “When he asked that I come on board, I thought it would be a great start to my own career.”

Aaron Ennis attended Napa Valley College and recently moved from Oakland, Calif., to work with his father.

“Team Ennis,” as they are affectionately called at the dealership, is known for great customer service. The majority of their sales come from referrals, word-of-mouth and repeat customers.

“I follow the Golden Rule and truly treat our customers the way that I would want to be treated,” Lawrence Ennis said. “I understand that credit is not an indication of character and that bad things happen to very good people. It’s this understanding that keeps customers coming back to Team Ennis for their car needs.”

Lawrence Ennis was born and raised in San Francisco and moved to Las Vegas in 1986. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1990, where he was named to the dean’s list. He became a salesman after answering an ad in the newspaper and has found it his calling ever since.

When not at the dealership, Lawrence Ennis and his son can be found giving back to the community. Lawrence Ennis is an active member of the American Cancer Society’s Las Vegas chapter, and he and his son donate time to their local church.
