YOUR WEEKEND: Chocolate and murder mix at Cheesecake and Crime

The scene is the inaugural International Chocolate Cuisine Taste Test in the 1940s. Representatives from all of the chocolate and candy companies around the world are here to introduce their new products. Throughout the week, there have been several outbursts of inappropriate behavior and unethical business tactics. And then, there’s a murder.

Death by Chocolate, a murder mystery event, will be held at 7 p.m. on June 14 at Cheesecake and Crime, a bookstore and cheesecake joint, 10545 S. Eastern Ave. No. 100. Guests are encouraged to dress up for the A Touch of Mystery presentation.
