New Walmart opening next month in southwest Las Vegas
A new Walmart will open in the Las Vegas Valley Nov. 1, a spokeswoman says.
The 170,000-square-foot Walmart at Blue Diamond Road and Rainbow Boulevard is expected to hire about 300 employees. The retail giant employs about 14,000 people in Nevada.
Walmart bought the land in 2012 for $5.3 million.
