Workforce Connections, the federally funded job placement and training agency, is renting an 18,729-square-foot space in the Charleston Festival shopping center to house a new one-stop employment center and its administrative offices.
Workforce Connections has rotated two of its executives.
Jaime Cruz is now the executive director of the government agency that connects employers to people looking for a job, according to a recent statement.
Cruz was chief strategy officer for the agency for eight years and has helped the agency offer programs through local libraries.
Jim Kostecki, who served as interim executive director following the death of Ardell Galbreth earlier this year, will return to a role as chief financial officer.
