Woman, 69, killed in suspected DUI crash near I-15, Blue Diamond Road
A 69-year-old Las Vegas woman was killed in a suspected DUI crash involving three vehicles near Interstate 15 just north of Blue Diamond Road Wednesday afternoon, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Celsa Olivas-De-Vivas was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Thursday as the victim of the crash.
One of the drivers involved in the crash was arrested for impairment and listed as being at fault for the collision, trooper Shawn Haggstrom said in an email Wednesday night.
Several other people were taken to a local hospital after the crash that happened just before 5 p.m. on the collector distributor road that runs parallel to Interstate 15, the Highway Patrol said.
