Las Vegas morning update for Thursday, December 28th — VIDEO

Here are your Thursday morning headlines:

1. Two people died and three were hospitalized after a shooting at an apartment complex Wednesday night. Police say five people were shot in the courtyard of the Desert Pines Townhouses on Bonanza near Pecos. Of the three injured taken to UMC, two were in critical condition. Police believe there is a relationship between four people of interest and the victims who lived in the apartments.

2. A man is in custody after barricading himself on a roof for three hours. Police say they responded to a domestic disturbance call in a neighborhood near Durango and Westcliff when a man broke into a residence and took a knife. He proceeded to climb onto the roof of the home and throw roof tiles at officers. Police took the man into custody at about 3:50 a.m.

3. According to police documents, a man threatened to shoot people during a showing of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” at a Las Vegas theater. Police say Gary Williams was threatening to shoot movie goers throughout the matinee showing before a theater employee stopped the film and turned up the lights as security watched Williams exit. Police say no gun was found. Williams is charged with making a terroristic threat.
