As friends and former classmates remember police office Milburn “Millie” Beitel, who was killed in a Wednesday night crash, his partner, David Nesheiwat, was upgraded to serious condition today at University Medical Center.
Beitel’s death came on the heels of officer James Manor’s fatal crash in May and three years after Sgt. Henry Prendas was shot to death in an ambush.
