On Dec. 11, take a look back in history, viewing rocks and fossils formed during the Permian period, on a moderate, 3-mile hike along Fossil Ridge; for ages 10 and older. Also on Dec. 11, explore Red Cap on a strenuous, 3-mile hike that includes rock scrambling; for ages 15 and older.
