Kelsey Martinez, the first female assistant in Raiders history, is no longer listed as with the organization, according to the team’s website. Martinez joined the club in March 2018 under Tom Shaw, the department’s then-coordinator who was dismissed in December. Before joining the Raiders, Martinez worked for 4 years at Tom Shaw Performance at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando. The Raiders did not return requests for comment on Martinez’s status.

Gender gap in business owner first-year revenue

A report from JPMorgan Chase found that male business owners in Las Vegas have higher first-year revenue than their female counter parts. According to the report, male business owners in Las Vegas made an average of $70,000 in the first year. Female business owners made an average of $57,000 in revenue their first year, a 20 percent difference. Other cities had larger gaps. Austin, for instance, had a 73 percent difference between male and female first-year revenue. And the gap in San Antonio was a 79 percent difference.

On Thursday, February 14, 2019, at approximately 8:42 a.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a swift water incident where people were trapped in the Durango wash which is located near 8771 Halcon Ave. Personnel found one person who was trapped in the flood channel. The background check bill currently being rushed through the Nevada legislature isn’t the same as the background check initiative voters passed in 2016. The bill also has a weaker exemption for hunters than a similar law in California. That’s according to Dan Reid, western director of the National Rifle Association, who said the NRA is also considering a legal challenge.
