Motorcyclist killed in collision with van in northwest Las Vegas

Las Vegas police are investigating a collision in the northwest valley that left a motorcyclist dead Friday night.

About 5:30 p.m. officers responded to a collision with a van in the area of West Cheyenne Avenue and North Fort Apache Road, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Corey Moon said.

No further details were immediately available.
