Pedestrian hit by vehicle on Boulder Highway

A crash at Boulder Highway and East Tropicana Avenue Monday evening sent a pedestrian to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Las Vegas police said.

The collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred about 6:30 p.m., Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and flung against a Regional Transportation Commissionbus, Goodwin said.

It is unknown which hospital the pedestrian was taken to, Goodwin said. The crash shut down traffic on Boulder Highway heading north.
