UNLV’s Crowe-Carter wins MW 800 meters, sets facility record

UNLV sophomore Auzsane Crowe-Carter won the women’s 800 meters Saturday at the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Laramie, Wyo.

Crowe-Carter’s time of 2 minutes, 8.76 seconds set a facility record at the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex. She was the only winner for the Rebels, who finished seventh in the 10-team meet with 59 points.

UNLV senior Erin Morris finished third in the 100 hurdles in 13.54; freshman Kenia Bonilla was fourth in the 100 in 11.94; senior Alva Castillo took fifth in the 400 in 56.15; and the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams finished third.

The San Diego State women and New Mexico men won the team titles.
