North Las Vegas firefighter pulls colleague from house fire

The North Las Vegas Fire Department on Friday released a dramatic photo of a firefighter falling through the roof of a burning house.

Two firefighters were injured in the blaze in the 3000 block of St. George Street, near Civic Center Drive and Cheyenne Avenue, on Thursday. The fire displaced eight residents who were not injured.

One firefighter fell through the roof, and another managed to pull him up.

A damage estimate was not released.

The American Red Cross will assist the displaced residents.
