Coroner identifies man killed in Friday shooting

The 61-year-old man who died in a shooting over the weekend has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

North Las Vegas police responded to reports of a shooting in the 6000 block of Arbor Crest Street, near Tropical Parkway and Donna Street, at 8 p.m. Friday.

Upon arrival, they found Hector Roman suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.

A 37-year-old man had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Police are still investigating.
