A train heading to California derailed Sunday near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Union Pacific spokesman Mark Davis said 19 coal cars and one locomotive derailed about 10 p.m. The train, which was bound for Mojave, Calif., had four locomotives and 103 cars.
No one was injured.
Davis said crews worked throughout the day to move the rail cars upright and worked throughout the night to repair the damaged track.
The rail line is expected to reopen by 4 a.m. Tuesday, he said.
The cause of the derailment is under investigation by Union Pacific.
