California golfer wins Nevada Open

Jeff Rangel of Martinez, Calif., shot 16-under 200 over three rounds to claim a two-stroke victory in the Nevada Open, played on the CasaBlanca and Palms golf courses in Mesquite.

Brady Schnell of Phoenix finished second at 202, and Riley Arp of Scottsdale, Ariz., was third at 203. Craig Barlow of Henderson was the top Nevada finisher, tying for 11th at 208.
