■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Cashman Field, Jordany Valdespin drilled a tiebreaking RBI triple to deep center field in the third inning and then scored on a wild pitch to put the 51s ahead 6-4 en route to their ninth win in 11 games. ... Las Vegas (57-48) has a one-game lead over Sacramento (57-50) in the Pacific Southern Division. ... Valdespin has strung together seven straight hits, going 4-for-4 on Friday and 3-for-3 on Saturday. ... Las Vegas scored four runs in the second to go up 4-0, but the River Cats countered with four in the third.
