Mohave County sheriff’s office discovers body

The Mohave County Sheriff’s office found a body Friday believed to be the woman reported missing earlier that day.

Agency spokeswoman Trish Carter issued a release Friday morning seeking public assistance in locating Carol Ann Drake, 66, of Yucca, Ariz.

The release stated relatives were concerned they had not heard from Drake for at least a couple of weeks.

Sheriff Tom Sheahan said the body of a woman believed to be Drake was located on her property in the community of Yucca, about 25 miles south of Kingman.

Sheahan said the case is being investigated as a homicide.
