Obama inauguration tickets available to Nevadans

WASHINGTON -Sen. Harry Reid urged Nevadans seeking tickets to President Barack Obama's second inauguration to act quickly.

Reid, D-Nev., will hold a drawing on Monday for the limited tickets that his office has received for the Jan. 21 swearing-in ceremony.

Reid invites Nevadans who want to attend the Inauguration Day ceremony to sign up for the drawing on his website www.reid.senate.gov.

The signup ends Friday.

Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., is distributing his tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets still remain and any interested Nevadans can call his office at 202-224-6244 or contact his staff through the website www.heller.senate.gov.

Each congressional office has also been allocated tickets for the swearing-in ceremony that are available to the public.
