Teen resuscitated after being pulled from Lake Mohave

A National Park Service official said a 19-year-old from the Las Vegas area was resuscitated after being pulled unconscious from the water in Lake Mohave during the weekend.

Park Service spokesman Randy Lavasseur said Monday the teen's friends noticed him in the water about
8:30 p.m. Sunday and summoned rangers to a popular cliff-diving spot at Six Mile Cove.

That's south of Cottonwood Cove on the Nevada side of the Colorado River reservoir.

Lavasseur said a ranger-paramedic performed CPR until a medical helicopter flew the teen to the St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus in Henderson.

The teen's name wasn't made public.
