Pahrump man who died in Laughlin rollover identified

LAUGHLIN - Authorities have identified a 31-year-old Pahrump man who died in a rollover crash in Laughlin that left two children with minor injuries.

The Clark County coroner said Benjamin Michael Labee was killed in the crash a little after 8 p.m. Monday.

Las Vegas police said Labee's Toyota 4 Runner was on Casino Drive, east of Needles Highway, when it veered off the road and overcorrected.

Police said the car rolled, and Labee was thrown from the vehicle. Officials said he was not wearing a seatbelt.

An 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, both from Pahrump, were wearing seatbelts and were taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Labee's death marks the 78th traffic fatality in the Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction this year.
