Liveratti will rejoin Nevada aging services agency

A veteran administrator with the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services is retaking the reins at the Division of Aging and Disability Services.

The appointment of Mary Liveratti was announced Tuesday by department director Mike Willden.

Liveratti currently serves as deputy director for the department. But she was administrator at aging and disability services from 1999 through January 2003 and worked in that division for 23 years.

Her appointment is effective May 7. Liveratti replaces former administrator Carol Sala, who retired last month.
