SANTANA KICKS OFF HOUSE OF BLUES RESIDENCY

Carlos Santana and his band performed at House of Blues (Mandalay Bay) on Wednesday, kicking off their new residency, “An Intimate Evening with Santana.” It was Santana’s first performance at the band’s new home in Vegas. Spotted in the crowd was boxing great Oscar De La Hoya, who got into the Latin spirit with some hip shaking dance moves. Santana, cited by Rolling Stone as #15 on their list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time,” will play shows in May and June. The band will then resume shows in September, playing through 2014.
