Motorcyclist killed identified as Panaca man

A motorcyclist killed after a highway accident Monday was identified on Thursday.

Nevada Highway Patrol said Barry Craig Isom, 64, from Panaca, died Monday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe on U.S. Highway 93 about 40 miles north of Las Vegas.

Police said the Tahoe attempted to make a left-hand turn onto a dirt road as Isom attempted to pass on the left. The motorcycle collided with the right rear end of the Tahoe.

Isom died at the scene. The three occupants of the Tahoe were uninjured.
