Findlay Prep’s Bennett names top 3, includes UNLV

Findlay Prep senior Anthony Bennett trimmed the list of colleges he is considering to UNLV, Kentucky and Oregon, Pilots assistant coach Todd Simon confirmed Friday.

The new list does not include Florida, which had been considered a possible leader.

Simon said the 6-foot-8-inch power forward took an unofficial visit to UNLV with his mother on Thursday, and Bennett has also taken unofficial visits to Kentucky and Oregon.

The NCAA's spring signing period ends May 16.

Also, Findlay Prep senior center Matt Willms announced Thursday on Twitter that he will take an official visit this weekend to Missouri, and later to Texas-El Paso.
