Shania Twain goes along for the ride

Whoa! What an entry.

Country music star Shania Twain had tourists in a tizzy when she showed up Thursday in the lobby at Caesars Palace with a white horse among her entourage.

Twain was shooting a commercial to promote her upcoming residency at Caesars Palace, starting Dec. 1.

It might be the most memorable scene at Caesars since Robert Redford rode a horse off a stage and through the casino for the 1979 film "The Electric Horseman."

Twain's red carpet arrival left some onlookers breathless. Nay, it was more like unbridled joy.

"Shania Twain is 20 ft from me ... on a horse ... In a casino," tweeted a Michelle Horton.

ROY HORN ACCUSED

A graphic video of legendary headliner Roy Horn of Siegfried & Roy is reportedly being shopped to media outlets, according to the celebrity website, TMZ.com.

Three caretakers are accusing Horn of sexually assaulting them, the website said Thursday. TMZ reps, after viewing the video, characterized it as "extremely disturbing."

Horn's publicist, Dave Kirvin, confirmed a cease-and-desist order was issued, saying, "This is not a new case."

In a similar case last September, U.S. District Judge Roger Hunt ordered attorneys for Oliver Preiss, a former personal assistant to Horn, and his wife, Beatrice, to pay almost $40,000 for making baseless legal claims against Horn and a company owned by Roy and Siegfried Fischbacher.

A VIEW TO DIE FOR

In what should rank among the most spectacular settings for a Las Vegas film or TV premiere, the July 25 debut of Bravo's "Top Chef Masters" Season 4 will include a viewing party at The Cosmopolitan's Boulevard Pool.

All 12 chefs are participating in the premiere. No Las Vegas chefs are in the lineup.

Viewing parties will be held at the pool for all 10 episodes, which will be shown on the 65-foot-high digital marquee, starting at 9 p.m. The show was filmed last September.

"Peepshow" star Holly Madison will be among the guest judges. Celebrity chef Curtis Stone will return as host, with regular judges James Oseland and Ruth Reichl and two newcomers.

THE SCENE AND HEARD

Food Network star Guy Fieri, the UNLV grad who drives around the country in a red 1967 Chevy Camaro while hosting "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives," is the Indianapolis 500 pace car driver Sunday. Las Vegas resident Gladys Knight is a Legendary Honoree and part-time Las Vegan Pete Rose is there as a Baseball Legend. ...

Correction: The lawsuit mentioned here Thursday that was filed against show producer David Saxe by dance instructors for his "Stripper 101" show said two video cameras were discovered in January, one while a dancer was trying to move a ceiling light with a broom handle.

SIGHTINGS

Pop star Pink and Carey Hart, taking in the early "O" show (Bellagio) on Thursday. ... TV personality Jerry Springer, hosting a red carpet welcome Wednesday outside Planet Hollywood Resort for the 51 Miss USA 2012 contestants.

THE PUNCH LINE

"I was watching 'The View,' and Barbara Walters talked about losing her virginity. Call me old-fashioned, but I think that's none of our business. That should be between Barbara and King Arthur." - Craig Ferguson
