Pardee celebrates today with a new green way
Pardee Homes is going green this St. Patrick's Day in more ways than one. The builder is celebrating the grand opening today of its new LivingSmart Homes neighborhood in Providence, a northwestern Las Vegas master-planned community, with tours of its model homes that showcase its green LivingSmart program. There also will be cooking demonstrations and corned beef sliders from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. In addition, representatives from Pardee Home Loans will be available to assist shoppers. The subdivision is off the Las Vegas Beltway at Ann Road.
The neighborhood offers a collection of four floor plans that range from 1,849 to 3,001 square feet. Prices are anticipated to start from $205,990.
"Our LivingSmart brand really resonates with today's buyers," said Pardee Homes' regional sales director Rob Tuvell. "And, the neighborhood location has convenient access to the 215 Beltway and is also near Providence's newly opened 15-acre Knickerbocker Park. Plus, the northwest corridor of the valley has really evolved to include Centennial Hills Hospital, new schools, restaurants and services."
Plan One measures 1,849 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths, living and great rooms and two-car garage.
The Plan Two measures 2,183 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, great room and two-car garage with optional third bay or workshop.
Plan Three measures 2,523 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, great and dining rooms, loft and three-car garage.
LivingSmart Homes Providence Plan Four measures approximately 3,001 square feet with five bedrooms, three baths, den, great room and two-car garage.
The homebuilder also provides slab-granite kitchen countertops, radiant-roof barrier, stainless steel appliances and birch cabinets as standard features included in the price of the home.
Pardee's LivingSmart brand is a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes, according to Tuvell.
The company's pledge to build greener began when it helped to pioneer the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program in homes in Southern Nevada in 1998. Today that commitment, Tuvell said, has grown to become Pardee's award-winning LivingSmart program, which provides more than 30 Earth-friendly standard and optional systems and features for new-home buyers, and it applies to every newly designed home the company offers.
Sales office hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday.
