Jubilee! auditions

Auditions for Jubilee!, a "classic Vegas" musical production featuring showgirls, dancers and singers, were held on Monday,, Jan. 23, 2012 at Bally's in Las Vegas. Diane Palm, assistant company manager for Jubilee!, said that approximately 12 dancers will be chosen. With auditions in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and Las Vegas, Palm said she's looking for a variety of qualities in the dancers, including height (5'8" is the minimum for women, but a few exceptions are allowed), technique, fitness and personality. "We're looking for that girl you want to watch on stage," she said. The performers have a heavy commitment--12 shows a week for 52 weeks a year. Jubilee has been running for over 30 years.
